Eqüitare was born with the idea of giving a new twist to something that began 10 years ago. These last few months have prompted us to reflect and change the way we think about the outlook for the brand. We want to slow things down, leave lofty ambitions behind, be honest, discreet and make a simple, good quality product that conveys our personality. WHY WE ARE DOING THIS
We’re passionate about our work and we love traditional manufacturing processes. Wood and hand-turned on micro lathe, woven raffia, sanded cork, hand-stitching…. We want to offer a carefully considered product, one that’s respectful of women’s lives and of the world they live in, one where they’re free to express their own individuality. The design of each pair of shoes, the construction, the collaboration with our craftsmen and with every single member of the team is a vital part of developing the collection.
